Pranayama (or yogic breathing) is the conscious regulation of the breath, which is the source of our prana (life force). How often are you conscious of your breathing throughout the day? Breathing is an action that is both voluntary and involuntary; it has the power to not only to sustain us but also to enhance our well-being. During this hour-long workshop, Kimya will train you in two relaxing pranayama techniques: Deep open mouth breathing and ocean breathing. Participants will be able to choose their preferred technique and then will be led in a breath counting meditation. No meditation experience necessary.
